Are ZAFFARONI machines standard or customized?

Most machines are custom-designed according to the customer's production requirements. The company adopts a "one by one" and "tailor-made" approach with in-house engineering and design.

The main industries served include the production of furniture, interior doors, composite panels, interior furnishings, architectural components, loudspeaker cabinets, laminated parquet flooring, multilayer parquet flooring, curved bed slats, profiles and door frames, insulating panels, decorative wall panels, acoustic panels, expanded sheets for core kitting, gypsum decorative elements, curved panels, concrete formwork and structural beams for the construction industry, as well as many other products manufactured from panel materials.

Does ZAFFARONI manufacture machines for Folding technology?

Yes. ZAFFARONI was among the first companies to develop machines for V-cutting/V-grooving, used to produce precise folds on panels. In particular, the "STM", "SMT", and "FML" series were specifically developed to meet the requirements of Folding technology.

Can dedicated solutions be developed for specific materials?

Yes. The machines can be adapted to process a wide range of materials, including MDF, particleboard, plywood, composite panels, gypsum board, plastic materials, as well as PET, PVC, and other special extruded and expanded materials.

How does technical support work?

ZAFFARONI provides comprehensive after-sales technical support, genuine spare parts, scheduled maintenance, and remote assistance (where applicable). The service department can be contacted at service[@]zaffaroni.com and offers three levels of support: Remote Connection Assistance, On-site Technical Service, and Remote Assistance using an Augmented Reality Viewer.

Do the machines include automation systems or industrial integration?

Yes. Upon request, the machines can be equipped with automation systems, automatic loading/unloading solutions, advanced control systems, and Industry 5.0 connectivity.

What are the average delivery times?

Delivery times vary depending on the level of customization, but generally a machine is delivered within a few months from order confirmation.

Does ZAFFARONI participate in international trade fairs?

Yes. The company regularly exhibits at leading international trade fairs such as XYLEXPO (Milan – Italy), LIGNA (Hanover – Germany), IWF (Atlanta, Georgia – USA), INDIA WOOD (Bangalore – India), and other international exhibitions dedicated to the woodworking industry, both independently and as part of the ICE/ITA collective exhibitions.

Is it possible to visit the production facility?

Yes, by appointment. The company's premises include in-house departments for engineering and design, steel fabrication, mechanical machining, painting, and machine assembly.

Are the machines compliant with European regulations?

Yes. All ZAFFARONI machines comply with CE regulations and are supplied with the relevant IFU (Instructions for Use) documentation.

Does the company also develop prototypes?

Yes, especially for highly specialized solutions or non-standard applications requested by industrial customers. Every prototype undergoes an internal FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) at the company's production facility in order to identify and resolve any potential issues before delivery.

Are machining tests available?

Depending on machine availability, processing tests can be carried out using customer-supplied materials to verify machining quality and production performance.
